NBC Picks Up Another Web-Series
Despite the impressive failure of Quarterlife earlier this year, NBC is hoping the second time is the charm, and has picked up another Internet-based series.
The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that the peacock network has picked up Gemini Division – starring Rosario Dawson – and Woke Up Dead from Electric Farm Entertainment.
Both series will be run online – on NBC’s website, and on the old-fashion, traditional television way.
Gemini Division will premiere this summer, while Woke up Dead will be tested on other NBC-Universal television stations before the peacock runs it.
