Sloan, Bedouin Soundclash Put On Free Show Before Junos
Sloan, Bedouin Soundclash and Finger Eleven put on a free show last night in Calgary, kicking off three days of events leading up to the 2008 Juno Awards.
The show was held outside in downtown Calgary, and ran for over five hours.
Those who couldn’t make it to the outdoor show can still catch free live music on Calgary’s public transit.
Calgary musicians have been played 45-minute sets on the city’s C-Trains to promote local music.
Performers will be playing on the C-Train this weekend between noon and 2 p.m.
The 2008 Juno Awards take place at Calgary’s Saddledome on Sunday.
