Corinne Bailey Rae is mourning the death of her husband.

The soulful crooner’s musician husband, Jason Rae, was found dead Saturday due to a suspected drug overdose.

There have been reports that police arrested an unidentified man for allegedly supplying Rae with “controlled substances”. He was released on bail shortly after the arrest.

Jason Rae, 31, was a respected saxophone player and musician. His band, Haggis Horns was scheduled to take the stage on Sunday night at London?s HiFi Club but the show has since been cancelled.

The initial autopsy was inconclusive so police are waiting for further information and the results of toxicology tests before officially determining the cause of Rae’s death.

Bailey Rae, a Grammy-winning songstress, reportedly met Jason Rae while working as a coat-check girl at a local jazz club when she was still a student at the University of Leeds. The two were married in 2001 and Corinne officially added Rae to her name.
