Beck Gets Danger-ous
Beck is teaming up with Danger Mouse, one half of Gnarls Barkley, for his new album.
Danger Mouse, whose real name is Brian Burton, will produce Beck’s follow-up to 2006’s “The Information.”
It’s been confirmed that the producer and the singer-songwriter, both based in L.A., have started work on the upcoming album.
Danger Mouse first rose to fame in 2004 when he remixed Jay-Z’s “Black Album” with The Beatles’ classic “White Album” to create “The Grey Album.”
The busy producer recently produced The Black Keys’ fifth full-length LP “Attack & Release,” which comes out April 1. Other artists he’s worked with include Gorillaz, The Rapture and Sparklehorse.
Gnarls Barkley’s second album, “The Odd Couple,” hits stores April 8.
