Jason Reitman To Work With Jim Carrey
Jason Reitman has a busy year ahead of him.
The director of Oscar-nominated Juno has signed on to work with fellow Canadian Jim Carrey. According to Variety magazine, the comedy titled Pierre Pierre will follow Carrey as a French nihilist who must transport a stolen painting from Paris to London.
Reitman is currently producing a dark comedy-horror film, Jennifer’s Body. It was written by scriptwriter Diablo Cody, who won an Oscar for Juno.
The Canadian director is also set to direct a remake of The Taking of Pelham 123, a thriller to star Denzel Washington and John Travolta.
Carrey will be in theatres next week as the voice of Horton in Dr. Seuss’ Horton Hears a Who.
