The controversial Fox game show “The Moment of Truth” is being blamed for the divorce of a contestant.

The New York Post is reporting that a recent contestant is having marital trouble after “truths” were revealed on the show.

Lauren Cleri says that because of some of the things she said, her and her husband are “kind of up in the air right now — I want to [get back together], but I don’t think he does.”

Cleri revealed on the show that she had slept with another man while married to her current husband, that she was still in love with another man on her wedding day, and that she really feels she should be married to another man.

The game show makes people take a lie detector while answering a series of questions and then puts them on television and re-asks some of the questions. If the contestants answer truthfully, they can win money. If they lie, they walk away with nothing.
