Aaron Carter was arrested for possession of drugs yesterday.

The 20-year-old pop star was speeding about Texas in his Cadillac Escalade when the cops pulled him over. Two ounces of marijuana were found stashed inside.

Carter was taken to a local jail in the town of Junction, where he spent the night.

Carter came to fame as a pop singer in the late 90’s. He made the tabloids after being involved with fellow pop stars and actors Hilary Duff and Lindsay Lohan.

The singer, and younger brother of Backstreet Boys’ Nick Carter, is due in court this morning for his arraignment.
