24 To Air In 2009
The writer’s strike may be over, but 24 won’t be returning to air anytime soon.
Fox confirmed yesterday that the network’s long-running thriller won’t be back until next January.
The decision was made due to timing. The network said they didn’t think they would be able to get in a full season before summer.
Most networks avoid running their high-profile shows in the summer, when viewers go away on vacation.
24 was supposed to start airing it’s seventh season this January, but was put on hold due to the three-month long writer’s strike.
Canadian-born actor Kiefer Sutherland stars in 24 as Jack Bauer, a Counter Terrorist Unit agent.
