Spears ‘Greatly Disabled’ After Hospitalization
Britney Spears has been classified as “G.D.” — or Greatly Disabled — by the UCLA Medical Center, according to reports from TMZ.com.
According to the reports, being G.D. is one of the criteria for involuntary commitment — and means the patient is unable to take care of basic needs, like getting food, clothing or shelter.
The “Toxic” singer was taken from her home and involuntarily hospitalized early Thursday morning — for the second time in a month.
At least a dozen LAPD motorcycles and squad cars, one helicopter, a special mental health unit, and an ambulance were involved in escorting Spears to the UCLA Medical Center.
TMZ.com also reported that Spears screamed the night she was taken away: “The only reason she’s admitting me is because she wants to be alone with her boyfriend! She wants to sleep with my boyfriend!”
It is rumored the “she” Spears is talking about is none other than her mother, Lynne.
Spears lost custody of her two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, after her first hospitalization.
