Toronto’s Danko Jones and Winnipeg’s The Waking Eyes are just two of the acts who will be taking the stage at this year’s Canadian Music Week showcase.

The annual showcase, which will take place over three nights, is held by Chart Magazine in partnership with the Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto.

The line-up for March 7 also includes Ottawa’s Hollerado, St. Catharines, Ont.’s The Arkells, Winnipeg’s Inward Eye, St. John’s, Nfld.’s Hey Rosetta! and Oshawa, Ont.’s Hail The Villain.

Organizers are still looking for a “high energy rock band” to close the show at 3 a.m.

Danko Jones will release a new album, “Never Too Loud,” on March 18, while the Waking Eyes are working on a new record.

Tickets will cost $12 at the door, but you can get your hands on them early when a maximum of 300 tickets go on sale Thursday for $10.50.
