Britney Spears’ world crumbled even more last night, after a dramatic screaming match with her manager.

Spears and Sam Lufti were seen having an emotional argument in her gated community, reports Perez Hilton. Spears was photographed barefoot outside, crying and cuddling her dog. She was so upset she called her boyfriend, paparazzo Adnan Ghalib, but Lufti had told Spears’ security not to let Ghalib enter.

The fight was so bad that Spears eventually fled with another member of the paparazzi, and her father drove over to protect her.

The photo agency Ghalib works for released a statement, explaining further that Ghalib never tried to break into Spears’ home. He said there was “distress” in Britney’s voice, but when he arrived and was barred access, “Adnan then tried to call Britney [but] it seems that Sam had turned all of her cell phones off.”

The agency also snapped photos of Ghalib’s phone, illuminated with text messages from Lufti. “You’re a manic trigger you’ll kill her,” the messages said. “You need to cease all contact with her completely. I tried to work with you helping her but you didn’t do as asked. Only way to help now is to disappear. She’s never been this way.”
