Eastern Canada will soon get to see a series of “superfantastic” shows.

At least, that’s what The Superfantastics are saying.

The indie rock duo will start touring eastern provinces in February, in support of their new Choose Your Destination EP.

The EP, due out on Feb. 26, comes as a follow-up to their debut LP, Pop-Up Book.

Hailing from Halifax, singer/guitarist Matt MacDonald and drummer/vocalist Stephanie D’Entremont are also up for an East Coast Music Award.

The duo, who are often mistaken for brother and sister, first met while playing frisbee in the park and have been performing together since the winter of 2005.

The Superfantastics kick off their tour on Feb. 22, in Charlottetown.
