Matthew Barber To Release LP, Tour With Sister
Toronto singer-songwriter Matthew Barber will have a busy next couple of months, with both a new album and a cross-country tour in the forecast.
“Ghost Notes,” Barber’s follow-up to 2005’s “Sweet Nothing,” will hit stores March 4.
The stripped-down LP was produced over six days at the Tragically Hip’s Bathouse studio in Bath, Ont.
Fans who get their hands on the first run of the album will find a digital download card that allows them access to rarities and out-takes.
In support of the new release, Barber will co-headline the “Sibling Rivalry Tour” with his sister and singer-songwriter Jill, who provides vocals on two of the tracks on “Ghost Notes.”
