If she hadn’t suffered enough already, Britney Spears blew a flat tire on her way home from a California hospital following a brief stay due to an emotional melt down. Exhausted from her own break-down, the last thing she presumably wanted to worry about was her car.

Accompanied by a personal assistant, the 26 year old’s tire went flat just after 7 p.m. on Sunset Boulevard.

The stressed out singer had just made a pit stop at a Studio City drugstore, and after being swarmed by her usual gaggle of paparazzi followers, sped off in her white Mercedes, bursting her tire at some point along the ride.

Spears reportedly continued to drive with the flat struggling down the road, even more foolishly without her headlights turned on. At one point, the singer zipped right passed a gas station but opted not to turn and fix the multiple problems.

Shortly after passing the gas station, Spears stopped at a traffic light where she was met by police. She then left her car on the side of the road and accepted a ride home from one of the many paparazzi people, Fabricio Mariotto, who remained close behind throughout the entire ordeal.

Shortly thereafter, the car was impounded by the city, after police officials deemed it unsafe to be left in the road in the midst of oncoming traffic.
