After exchanging their vows in a romantic ceremony off the coast of Bora Bora just three days ago, Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmonds have decided to do it again, and not just because they had so much fun the first time.

Reports have surfaced that the couples’ nuptials were not legal, and in order for them to be considered legally bound back home, they’ll have to say ‘I do’ one more time.

The couple have notified their family, friends and the press back home, assuring them that once they return they’ll have a full scale re-do with all of their loved ones present.

Being that Bora Bora is a part of French Polynesia, it operates under French law. French law asks that a couple have spent a minimum of 30 days in the territory before a marriage can be made valid, which Murphy and his bride had not.

Once the two make it official on American soil it will be the second marriage for both parties.
