Miley Defends Sleepover Snapshots
Miley Cyrus is standing by candid photos of her and a friend at a sleepover which gossip blogs have deemed “scandalous.”
The pics show Cyrus goofing around with another young girl on a hotel floor and sharing a piece of candy.
The “Hannah Montana” star is outraged at the media’s misinterpretation of the photos.
“They’re nothing bad!” the 15-year-old told New York’s Z100 radio station, MSNBC reports.
“There was nothing wrong with it. It’s two girls at a sleepover. And if all of a sudden that’s bad, then what is the world coming to?” the frustrated young pop star told the station.
Cyrus cites the girl in the photos as “one of [her] best friends” and expressed anger over the fact that the girl now has to deal with ridicule at school.
Cyrus definitely isn’t taking any of this lightly.
“What I decided before I came out to L.A. and started working was the minute I didn’t have fun was the minute I go home. I don’t want to go home, and I don’t want to not do what I do, because I love it, but this … it’s Satan attacking and it’s just one more thing I have to deal with. But it’s not something that I’m going to let slide because I really am upset about it,” she said.
