British Airline Breaks Rules for Celeb Chef Gordon Ramsay
Chef Gordon Ramsay was given preferential treatment by British Airways, according to the Daily Mail.
Ramsay’s eight-year-old son Jack had an invalid passport, as it had expired 18 days before their holiday trip to Thailand. The airline allowed Jack to fly, but warned that Thai officials could deny entry. The Ramsay family decided to take their first-class flight anyway.
However, the airline did not break the same rule for a business executive who was supposed to take the same flight. As the furious man anonymously told the newspaper, “There’s one rule for Gordon Ramsay and another for everyone else.”
When the man took it up with a customer service manager, he was told that young Ramsay’s passport was in order. “I can’t believe he lied to me. I will be writing a letter of complaint to BA,” the business man said.
