Female rapper Remy Ma has been declined the right to leave the country to embark on a five county stop European tour.

The court has ruled that the rapper will not be able to book her shows over seas due to the fact that the charges against her are too severe. For example, Ma is being charged for shooting an acquaintance at a party in NYC in July after she suspected that he or she had stolen some money from her.

Ivan Fisher, Ma’s lawyer, argued that after the rappers legal troubles began surfacing during the summer, her legal costs have been rising, and playing the shows in Europe will help her to afford everything that the upcoming legal proceedings will entail.

However, the courts declined this request and have adjourned until Jan. 22 when Ma, whose real name is Remy Smith, will be called to court again.
