Lynne Spears, famous celebrity mother, has announced that the release of her parenting book and been delayed indefinitely.

Perhaps it’s due to a publishing mishap – or perhaps it’s because over the past few years it has become fairly evident that parenting may not be one of her strong suits. Considering her eldest daughter has recently been divorced, shaved her head, assaulted paparazzi, been slammed with repeated DUIs and is fighting for the unlikely custody of her two young sons, and, of course, her youngest is now knocked up at 16, it might be safe to say that the last thing Lynne Spears can boast about is her parenting.

“Pop Culture Mom: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World,” is on indeterminate hold by the publisher Thomas Nelson. However the publisher, who is known for inspirational literature and Bibles, has made it clear that the release has strictly been postponed.

“The book is delayed indefinitely. It’s delayed, not cancelled,” a spokesperson said in a report to “People” magazine. However, according to the spokesperson, the decision to put the book on hold was made last week, having nothing to do with Jamie-Lynn’s baby news.
