Fall Out Boy’s Stump to Try Acting
Fall Out Boy’s singer and guitarist Patrick Stump will test out his acting chops on an upcoming episode of Law & Order.
The episode, entitled Darkness, was initially slotted to air sometime in February but has been bumped up to an earlier date, to the rapture of his fans. The episode will now run on Jan. 2 and will be part of the two hour premier of the long-running drama’s 18th celebrated season.
In the episode, Stump plays Marty Dressler, an office employee. Stump’s character becomes the primary suspect when his superior’s wife and daughter mysteriously disappear, and his housekeeper is killed. Stump has two scenes where he is interrogated by detectives Green and Lupo.
Although stump enjoyed his time making the show, and his brief moment in spotlight (Pete Wentz is usually hogging it all anyways) he wont be leaving his music permanently any time soon.
“We go off and do our fun little things, but [Fall Out Boy] is always our main focus,” he told MTV News in an interview.
