Trebek Out of Hospital
After suffering a minor heart attack, Alex Trebek will get to spend the holidays recovering at home.
The Canadian host of Jeopardy was released from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on Saturday, CBC News reports.
“I’m truly overwhelmed by the great show of support and compassion expressed in the past few days to me, my family and my coworkers,” Trebek said in a statement.
Trebek has hosted Jeopardy for more than 20 years and is set to return to the studio on Jan. 14 to for the show’s annual “Teen Tournament.”
