Blanchett and Winstone Star in Upcoming Indiana Jones Flick
Producer Frank Marshall has finally chosen to reveal some of the names that can be caught lighting up the credits of the upcoming Indiana Jones instalment. 30 years after the first film made it to the big screen, Harrison Ford has agreed to don that brown brimmed cap and safari shirt yet again in “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull”.
However, the rest of the cast had been kept a secret, until now.
Marshall announced this week that Cate Blanchett and Ray Winstone are just two of the big name actors who have been working hard on the set.
“Well, Cate is just spectacular, one of the finest actresses working today. She went from ‘[The Curious Case of] Benjamin Button’ to playing the villainess in ‘Indiana Jones,’ so she’s up for anything,” The producer gushed to MTV.
“She makes a great villain. She had a really fun time.
Winstone, who has been receiving nothing but positive feedback about his role in Beowulf, plays another archeologist Indiana’s, who is both “friend and competitor”.
“Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” will hit theatres May 22.
