In Britney Spears’ latest single, “Piece of Me”, she asks the tabloids, her fans, her ex, her mother, and even the courts why it is that they just can’t seem to leave her alone. Now, she is challenging them to, fittingly, come get a piece of her.

In a new contest announced by Britney and MTV, the celebrity pop star is now challenging her fans to select little pieces of her life, her career, her red carpet appearances, her interviews and her music videos and create their own rendition of the “Piece of Me” video. The homemade vids will then be aired online, and a winner will be chosen.

The winner will be chosen live on TRL Dec. 20 by Britney and a Jive Records representative. The winner will have their director debut on MTV, as well as on the website. The deadline to submit is Dec. 14. For details, see MTV.com.
