As the Writers Guild of America and studio negotiators return to the bargaining table, NBC is digging deep into its archives for some vintage Leno.

The network is going back as far as 15 years for five classic episodes of “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” featuring the first headliner apperances of some of today’s biggest names.

Next week, viewers can catch a 1992 episode with Tom Hanks, Julia Roberts in 1993, 1995 appearances by Jennifer Aniston and Johnny Depp and a 2000 episode featuring Matt Damon.

Ratings for late-night shows like “Leno” and “The Late Show With David Letterman” have been down as CBS and NBC continue to air repeats during the WGA strike.

Late-night show producers are now turning to their archives as they run out of recent episodes to repeat.
