Timbaland has given birth to numerous club hits over the past few years, but has now passed the torch on to his fiancée. Monique Idlett, his new fiancée, brought a brand new baby girl into the world this week, while proud papa Timbaland stood by her side.

According to E! News, Timbaland popped the question to Idlett, his publicist turned fiancée, at her baby shower. The two plan on tying the knot sometime in the near future, being the first marriage for both of them.

“They’re both really happy together,” a source advised US weekly, “They’ve known each other for years.”

Although Timbaland appears to have not left the studio in years, judging by the number of hits he has, the new family-man is reportedly very happy to take some much needed time off.

The baby’s name has not yet been released.
