DVD Review: Cougar Club
Hmmm… What passions young men have. “Cougar Club” surrounds an interesting venture proposed by two recent college grads who find themselves out of luck. The main character, Spence Holmes, wanted to attend Yale Law School but unfortunately cannot get in due to his low marks. Following this, he ends up working at a local law firm recommended by his father so he can gain work experience and a reference letter to get into the highly praised school. As we all know, working does give you real world experience, but it is not legal work that he finds to be the most compelling thing that presents itself. Through the encouragement of his best friend, Hogan, the two end up starting up the Cougar Club. The club is based on selling memberships to young pervs who want a piece of the older women crowd. The club leads to much more excitement than the two thought they would encounter but makes the movie both hilarious and intriguing. One must see how a little action from the older ladies changes your life. I also thought that the extras given with the DVD were very compelling to the younger male crowd. I give it a 3.5/5.
