Donda West’s Last Public Words
Donda West, late mother of rapper Kanye West, spoke some of her last living words on radio station Providence 95.5 WBRU just 48 hours before her passing. Naturally, her topic of choice was about raising her pride and joy, Kanye.
“When you look at all of the obstacles there are in raising kids, you can see why it’s really important to try and keep them on the straight and narrow. But at the same time be flexible enough so that they could grow and be creative and come into their own,” Donda suggested to listeners.
DJ Souleo, of 95.5, was the one who conducted the dialogue. “During the interview, Dr. Donda West was very candid and highly introspective about her life as a mother to Kanye, views on the world, and future goals, Souleo said.
“It was an honour to have spoken with her and I send my condolences to the entire West family and all those affected by her death.”
Donda West passed away on Saturday, November 11, due to a complication associated with a routine tummy tuck and breast reduction surgery.
