Alanis Morissette can probably do it all. With a world famous set of pipes, and some serious acting chops, Morissette is no stranger to the limelight. She has had a few TV cameos here and there, but not since ‘Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back’ in 2001 has Morissette been in a movie – until now. She has recently just signed on to play the role of Sylvia in the movie adaptation of writer Philip K. Dick’s novel ‘Radio Free Albemuth’.

“I am a big fan of Philip K. Dick’s poetic and expansively imaginative books,” She gushed in said an interview with Hollywood Reporter article. “I feel blessed to portray Sylvia, and to be part of this story being told in film.”

It has been two years since Morissette has released an album, the last being a greatest hits compilation in 2005, but Fans can look forward to getting more Alanis once the film is released sometime in the not too distant future.
