Big screen beauty Uma Thurman undoubtedly has masses of adoring and supportive fans ? but every once in a while there are the few who care a little too much, get a little too close, and take their admiration a little too far.

Uma Thurman’s supposed stalker, Jack Jordan, 35, has been charged with attempted stalking, coercion, and aggravated harassment. According to Thurman, the former psychiatric patient had threatened to injure himself on more than one occasion, had sent threatening e-mails, and left letters at her home professing his love to her.

Thurman’s troubled prowler was arrested on Friday outside of her home in Greenwich Village. Reports claim that this wasn’t the first time that the intruder has tread a little too close for comfort for Thurman, and his presence has been the source of Thurman’s ongoing trepidation.

Due to his persistence, and the multiple charges being held against him, bail has been set at $10,000 and Thurman and her two children have been issued protection by the courts.
