Believe it or not, being a celebrity is still considered work. Lucky for The Pipettes, they finally have their working visas in order and will be playing shows as planned. Regretfully, the all-girl trio from the U.K. were forced to cancel a large portion of their North American tour dates because they could not attain working visas on time.

Disappointed fans across Canada and the United States were told last week that The Pipettes would no longer be visiting their city – but were pleased to be informed yesterday that the girls would come after all.

The Pipettes came together in 2004, and have been dazzling audiences with their 60’s inspired songs like “Pull Shapes” and “Your Kisses are Wasted on Me”. The band’s rescheduled dates can be found on pitchforkmedia.com.
