Nicolas Cage Discovers Naked Intruder in his Newport Beach Home on Tuesday
Nicolas Cage was forced to make a late-night call for help when he spotted a naked intruder strutting around in his leather jacket early Tuesday morning. Cage spotted the man around 1:30 a.m. outside the door of a bathroom in his family’s Newport Beach abode.
With his wife and child upstairs sleeping in their gated-community family home, Cage contacted security and 45-year-old Robert Dennis Furo was promptly arrested and taken into custody. Farrah Emami, the Orange County district attorney’s spokesperson told CBC that Furo would be held at $50,000 US bail, and could face up to six years if convicted.
A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for Oct. 10. Cage has declined to make any statements on the event.
