Britney Loses Custody of Her Children
Between shaving off her hair last year, leaving her dignity backstage at the MTV Awards and firing her entourage last month, it appeared that Britney Spears had nothing left to loose – except her children.
On Monday, the courts instructed Spears to hand her children over to ex husband Kevin Federline, where she would only have the rights to visitation, and not joint custody as previously determined only a few weeks ago.
After a court hearing two weeks ago, Spears and Federline were ordered to share the custody of their two young sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James. However, there were some conditions applied to the court order, including that Spears seek counselling, and take parenting courses, and of course that she refrain from drug and alcohol use in the presence of her sons, and for a period of time before and after they were with her.
Hours after the hearing let out, Spears was spotting partying in L.A. – and within a matter of days, Britney was facing charges for yet another driving related offence. Federline saw an opportunity in her error and scheduled an immediate hearing where the children were ordered into the full custody of Federline until further notice.
