‘Tell me what you want, what you really, really want,’ the Spice Girls asked millions of fans in 1997 – and it turns out they want the same thing now that they did back then.
Spice Girls’ fans have spoken and the answer is tickets to their reunion show in London. The Girls’ highly-anticipated performance sold out in just 38 seconds. The debut concert is set for December and will take place in the O2 Arena, which can hold upwards of 20,000 people. More than a million ticket requests were sent in via e-mail and text message – but only few ‘wannabes’ were successful.
Some savvy ticket holders have decided to post their tickets for the London show up for sale on Ebay, asking close to $1400.00 CAD per seat. Due to the high demand, and the desire to please the fans that have stayed loyal during their decade of absence, the Spice Girls have agreed to open more show dates in London over December.
They will also be spicing up Canadian cities Vancouver and Toronto, then moving on to the U.S to perform in major cities across the country.
