Tragedy arose as a crewmember was killed in an accident on the set of Christian Bale?s upcoming Batman continuation ?A Dark Knight?. Although Bale and the rest of the stars were not present when the special-effects technician accidentally drove the camera truck into a tree while tailing a stunt truck on a run through, the cast as well as Warner Bros. feel terrible.

According to E! News, Warner Bros. released a statement to express their deepest condolences saying that ?Warner Bros. Pictures and the entire cast and crew of The Dark Knight are deeply saddened by this tragedy and their hearts and prayers go out to the family and loved ones of the deceased.”

The tragedy took place in a town just south of London, one of the three main cities that the movie is being filmed. Other locations will include Chicago and Hong Kong.
