Zeppelin Tickets Too Few for The Fans
Legendary rock band Led Zeppelin has announced that they will be performing a reunion show on Nov. 26 at London?s O2 Arena. After extending the deadline for ballot entries from Monday to Wednesday, Zeppelin still fears that there will be masses of disappointed fans that will not get tickets.
Each ticket costs 253.00 CAD, and potential ticket holders must be selected by means of a lottery draw in order to be eligible to purchase one. With only 20,000 tickets and a reported million entries, there will be many diehard Zeppelin enthusiasts that will not get to see the once-in-a-lifetime performance.
Harvey Goldsmith, the band?s official promoter, told CBC that the ?response is amazing and from it we have had over one million registrations. We would like to thank all the fans for their support and we hope that all those fortunate to be successful will keep the tickets out of the hands of [ticket scalpers].”
The lucky winners will be notified Oct. 1.
