The gloves were off this week as 50 Cent and Kanye West fought like champions for the highest sales on their newly released albums. As the media watched closely, each artist took a stab at the lead, but as the end of the week approached the official scores were eventually tallied in favour of West.

50 Cent had stated previously that if West outsold him this week, he would never again make a solo album ? if such is the case, fans can kiss their beloved Fiddy goodbye.

?Graduation?, West?s album, debuted at number one selling 54,000 copies in Canada alone, a landslide victory over 50 whom, according to MTV, sold nearly 8,000 units less than West. Sales this week in America were also kinder to West as he sold 957,000 copies, and 50 sold only 691,000.

After 50 learned of his shortcomings in U.K sales as well, he promptly cancelled two upcoming performances in England. Talk about a sore loser!
