DLO Powers Up Your iPod

Don’t let your new iPod Nano, iPod Classic, or iPod Touch go powerless; DLO has just launched brand new car and home chargers for the iPod.

Today, DLO unveiled the newest additions to the PowerBug family of chargers — PowerBug and PowerBug for iPod. They join the previously announced PowerBug for shuffle. Collectively, the PowerBug family powers the complete line of iPods – from the iPod shuffle to the recently announced iPod nano, iPod classic and iPod touch.

The DLO PowerBug is a USB charger that powers a variety of USB-based electronics via any AC wall outlet. The PowerBug for iPod includes an iPod charging cable to power any dockable iPod, iPod nano and the new iPod touch. The PowerBug for shuffle includes a cable specific to the second generation iPod shuffles.

For iPod users on the road, DLO is also announcing the DLO Auto Charger, available in black or white. Like the PowerBugs, the Auto Charger provides an Intelligent Status Light to let users know their iPod’s charging condition at a glance – viewable through the clear lens in the charger module. The Auto Charger glows red for charger ‘power on’ status, amber when it’s charging and green when the iPod’s battery is fully charged and ready to go. The Auto Charger also includes Velcro tabs that allow users to mount their iPod, connected to the Auto Charger, anywhere in the car. The DLO Auto Charger fits all dockable iPods including the iPod, iPod mini, iPod nano, iPod classic and iPod Touch. It charges the iPod’s battery from any cigarette lighter or 12v outlet in a car or truck. The Auto Charger comes with a 24-inch coiled cord that stretches to over five feet in length.
