Rappers 50 CENT and LIL’ KIM are to be sued by a record producer for $2 million (£1 million) after allegedly failing to pay the royalties on their track MAGIC STICK.

Carlos Evans claims he was employed by Rotten Apple Records to produce,
engineer and mix the song in 2003, but has never received a payment.

In a lawsuit filed at Manhattan Supreme Court in New York, Evans claims the
track was originally intended for 50 Cent’s Get Rich Or Die Tryin album, but
was instead used by Atlantic Records on Lil’ Kim’s La Bella Mafia.

Evans says, “It was one of the hottest tracks on that album, and I didn’t
collect my royalties.” (LJ/WNWCNM/IG)
