Apple gave consumers an early holiday gift this year, a US$200 price cut on the popular 8GB iPhone model.

The company also removed the 4GB model from it’s product line, saying it wanted to focus on production of its more popular 8GB model.

Apple then introduced a new ringtone service that let’s users create custom ringtones from within it’s iTunes software for just US$0.99. The service requires that users upgrade to the latest version of iTunes, available today.
