GEORGE CLOONEY lashed out at a reporter at a Venice Film Festival press
conference at the weekend (01Sep07) after the critic poked fun at his new
European coffee ads.
Clooney was in Italy promoting his new film Michael Clayton when one brave
journalist asked the actor how he could defend his decision to star in new TV
ads for multinational company Nestle.
The movie star addressed the reporter, stating he did not have to explain his
decisions, telling the journalist the question “irritated” him.
Clooney growled, “I’m not going to apologise to you for trying to make a
living every once in a while. I find that an irritating question.” (KL/WNWC)
