Former VERONICA MARS actress KRISTEN BELL is set to join the cast of Heroes for the upcoming season.

Bell, 27, had been rumoured to be considering a role on Lost since the cancellation of Veronica Mars in the third season earlier this year (07), but chose Heroes instead.

She will play Elle, a woman “with a link to the supposed death of Peter, HRG’s past and Claire,” according to trade magazine Variety.
