U.S. President GEORGE W. BUSH’s daughter JENNA is engaged to marry her longtime boyfriend HENRY HAGER.

The couple, who became engaged on Wednesday (15Aug07), have not set a wedding date yet.

A statement issued by The White House reads: “President and Mrs. George W. Bush are happy to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jenna Bush, to Mr. Henry Hager, son of the Honourable and Mrs. John H. Hager of Richmond, Virginia.

“Miss Bush and Mr. Hager became engaged Wednesday 15 August 2007.”

Hager is currently studying at the University Of Virginia School Of Business and has been a White House aide who worked on President Bush’s 2004 re-election campaign.

Teacher Jenna Bush, 25, is one of the president’s twin daughters; her sister is Barbara.
