FAMILY GUY creator SETH MacFARLANE missed death when terrorists struck New York City on 9/11, because he was hungover and missed one of the flights that struck the World Trade Center.

But the writer refuses to believe fate saved his life, insisting alcohol deserves all the credit.

MacFarlance tells Penthouse magazine, “I was very, very hung over. I was running about an hour late . . . Yes, alcohol saves lives.

“We need to feel that something was meant to be. It’s a lot of horses**t.

“I’ve missed other fights. This is not the first flight I missed for being a little too party-hearty the night before.”
