Hip-hop star KANYE WEST will host an inaugural benefit concert for his Kanye West Foundation in Chicago, Illinois in August (07).

The Gold Digger rapper will stage the fundraising gig, which is expected to feature a number of famous acts, in his hometown on 24 August.

The Kanye West Foundation was set up in 2005 to fight the problem of U.S. teenagers dropping out of high school by “developing student-centered programs geared towards increased literacy, heightened self-worth, independent thinking, and self-actualisation through the arts.” (GES/U/KL)
