BRITNEY SPEARS is to host the grand opening of LAX nightclub at the Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas.

The new club opens its doors to the public on August 31 and the pop superstar will be there to welcome revellers.

Club bosses asked Spears to host the grand opening of LAX after her New Year’s Eve 2006 party at sister venue Pure was a massive draw.
