Former DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES star JESSE METCALFE is eyeing a career as a musician.

The 28-year-old is practising his guitar and singing skills and hopes to be a successful solo artist.

He tells People.com, “I’ve just started writing and trying to develop my sound a little bit, but it will be as a solo artist. I sing and play guitar.”
