Extreme Reunite Again
MORE THAN WORDS hitmakers EXTREME are fuelling reports of a full reunion after two recent get togethers a month apart.
The group, fronted by Gary Cherone and Nuno Bettencourt, performed together at a Metal Skool show in Los Angeles last month and the original line-up reunited for a New York benefit concert in honour of music manager Steven Hoffman earlier this month.
Since the group split in 1996, Cherone has fronted Van Halen, while Bettencourt has been part of a number of groups and currently plays guitar in Perry Farrell’s new group Satellite Party.
Bettencourt is currently writing material with Journey frontman Steve Perry.
