Jolie And Pitt Donate $1 Million To Darfur Relief
ANGELINA JOLIE and BRAD PITT’s charitable foundation has donated $1 million to help refugees of the war in Sudan.
More than two million people have been left homeless by the conflict in the African nation’s Darfur region, and there are 240,000 refugees across the border in Chad.
The donation was announced yesterday by the United Nations High Commission for Refugees, for which Jolie is a goodwill ambassador and where some of the money will go. The rest will be split between the International Rescue Committee and the SOS Children’s Villages.
