Billy Talent, Nickelback Lead MuchMusic Video Awards Nominations

With the 2007 MuchMusic Vidoe Awards less than a month away, Billy Talent and Nickleback have learned that they lead the pack of artists with five nominations each.

Hip-hop artists Belly and k-os each received four nominations.

“It’s always a pleasure for us to recognize all the amazing home-grown talent in the music video industry,” says Programming Director Sheila Sullivan. “A strong group of nominees like this will surely make for a great show and the biggest music party of the year.”

The MMVAs will be held on June 17.

And although MuchMusic has yet to announce who will be performing or presenting, andPOP has a hint for you about one artist who will be appearing: She is in the Black Eyed Peas. Hmmm…..
