JOSS STONE, JOHN LEGEND and HARRY CONNICK JR have given a supportive hand to the rejuvenation of grief-stricken New Orleans, Louisiana, following 2005’s Hurricane Katrina.
The musicians – who were in the American city to perform at its Jazz Festival – have taken time off from performing to aid in the area’s rebuilding.
Legend and Connick Jr kicked off the proceedings on Sunday by washing clothes at a laundromat and painting a house respectively.
Meanwhile, Stone spent yesterday promoting voluntary work.
Dreamgirls star Danny Glover and Democrat politician John Edwards also helped out in the Southern city.
